ok, i have all the parts, i think.... i have a sig smoke pump, fuel tank, fuel tubing and stainless steel 1/8 tubing, and yes a p-80 in my facet2300.
question is, the stainless steel tubing, where do i place the end of the tubes? how close to the exhaust? I plan on using 2 tubes , one on each side of the turbine, and i plan on squeezing the ends of the tubes so i can get a spray. and i will have the smoke pump on a rotory knob on the radio to control amout of fluid being sprayed at turbine.
any suggestions?
thanks

You've got a good start on materials. I bent my stainless steel tubing so that it would be directly in the exhaust approx 1.5 inchs behind my tail cone. The ends of the tubing have been squeezed together to produce a vertical fan shaped mist. Since my AV8R is cramped for space, I built what I call a smoke boat that has the 20 oz tank, a used turbine fuel pump, a 30 amp speed controller and a 1700 mah lipo batt all inside. It hangs on a BVM bomb drop which is on the CG. I also put the smoker channel on a slider switch on my 9Z transmitter and can adjust the speed of the smoke pump to give me whiffs of smoke or really dense (smoke screen type) smoke. John VH took the photos of the AV8R in the air with the smoke boat attached. Works great.

roy, what size fuel tank do you have for the smoke, and how long does that last?
i need to find room for the tank, or since i have 3 tanks on the jet and get 11 minutes of flight time, i might take one of the 24 oz tanks and use that one for smoke fluid.
