Since Dave and John C. were there with their super cameras, I decided to leave mine in the car. I did happen to snap off a shot or two of John buzzing the pits with the Mustang!
Hey John.....were all waiting for your pictures!

As I mentioned....my wife is pretty pregnant, right! So what does she say when I tell her I want to go flying at Buttonwillow next weekend as well....making it 3 weekends in a row of 6 hour round trips hanging with my buddies, flying toy planes, being worthless the following day?

Anyone want to guess?

She says............"Well?............hmmmmmm?........ .....I want wood floors in the living room!!"

Im just sick I tell you.....sick!

My dog was not happy either!

Ditto on every comment. Buttonwillow was an incredible time again this time.

Always a good time in the company of this group. Got a few photos also, but as always at Buttonwillow, flying from dusk till dawn has the highest priority.

HOG FEVER...

The A-10 is one of the most impressive R/C models I have ever seen. Looks incredibly realistic in flight, and Sung flew it very smooth and realistic on it's maiden flight. The twin Eagle turbines provides tons of power. Hope to get some stick time on this beast soon.

We all got some stick time on Joe C's new Bobcat. Thanks Joe.

Great combo with the P-70 engine.

First photo, Dave shows the "Presta stand" that ensures smooth flying at low altitude. Bobcat flew under my camera view.

Second photo Dave shot while I was flying.

John actually I think that I was lifting my leg to give DUKY a little "sniffizle"

Hey that picture I took of you dint come out that bad. Your always' taking pictures of us, thought I would steal your camera out of the Soprano van and snap a few while you were flyin. I do have to say, there is way more to this photo thing then just a nice camera....especially with stuff going this fast. Great shots as usual John, keep 'em coming. All these pictures just keep pumpin me up for the next trip out there!
Cant wait,
Dave

You can have so much fun with an $800 low stress piece of $*#t monocoated airplane. The Boomerang snaps inside and out, knife edges, spins and rolls like a champ. With the P-60 you have good vertical performance, and can leave the throttle wide open from a dive from the stratosphere.

Both Dave and I managed an inflight restart. Pretty kewl. We also tried some formation flying.

Yeah Dave, DUKY has some real problems with manners Sorry about this photo DUK DUK... It was Jorge who shot it.

Jorge's Sukhoi was airborne all day in the hands of everyone who wanted to fly it.

I forgot to mention and thank David Schwantz for the great build job on the Hog. David she looks great on the ground and sooo much cooler and meaner in the air. Once again thanks for the great work.

Whooops I forgot to mention Henry Hguyen of HVN Models did the initial glass work on the plane and preped the plane some what before sending it out to David to finish the plane.

All in all the results speak for itself, she looks great and flies f$--in AWESOME!!.

Henry: "Hey Sung, can I take the Hotspot for a spin??"

Sung: "Sure, just don't fu.. up, and don't get it in a flat spin!"

Henry: "OK!"

12 minutes later....

Henry: "SUUUUUUUUNG!!!!! HEEEEEELLLLLPPPPPPP"

Hotspot is in a nice falling leaf on it's back, gently falling while Henry tries every input. Sung takes over and almost rescues the plane, but he is out of altitude.

So now, it is a Flatspot powered by the flatcat 120[:@][&:]

Ouch, who's plane is that? I hope there was very little damage from that. Did the nose gear just fail to come out or did it fall off on takeoff? If it fell off on takeoff how was the flight?
