Discovery - Model Jets
S Can someone make this happen? -- those of you in the industry, or those who know of someone who knows someone who can make it happen
Just like they have the biker buildoff etc, we need a model buildoff or something on the discovery channel or a whole new cable or satellite channel dedicated to RC (construction techniques, events etc) just like this website. I for one know I'll be a subscriber to that network....what i currently have just sucks!!
I was watching the programming packages I have on my satellite subscription and just bored to hell because there was simply nothing that piqued my interest....
Or is there a service like that already in existence that I know nothing of??

If the AMA would stop spending money on certain things, I bet there would be enough money to put together some small modeling segment / show on a network.
Heck even if it were just replays from modelSport video magazine.

Boy ain't that the truth. I just got the AMA approved credit card application in the mail. But low and behold no AMA card as of yet. Paid for my renewal a month ago.

perhaps the AMA needs a swift kick in the pants to get this thing going. break out the size 24's..........anyone?

I told you to watch how that was phrased! 
My mistake, I thought as thread starter only you can add a poll to an already existing thread, instead, looks as though you have to start a new one. Up next to 'new post' is 'new poll'
Disc. H&L occasionally show 'supermodels' but the only jet related one was the C-17 x4 P120's you can only watch that so many times. There were also a couple of 'modelmania' episodes relating to jets and large scale.

dave , we are talking america here. we don't get YOUR channels i think it's a great idea. a few years ago we have a show on the outdoor channel called remote control. i was getting tied of watching the so called elite of the hobby telling us all about themselves. i'd like to see interesting things like building and scale finishing ideas as well as adverage guys flying ,warbird_1
