Default Break in procedure for DF engine/byron fan?

Hey all you long time DF experts, have a question for you!

I bought a Picco .80 DF engine, bryon fan and pipe. Have test run the setup on my test stand, just to try it, maybe 12 oz of fuel through it so far. It starts and runs well, idles and transitions way better than I expected. Currently running very rich.

My question:

In the Byron fan instructions it says to use an 11-7.5 (for a 90 size engine) for break in, can I use an apc 11-7, or is an 11-8 better? I want to run a prop for better cooling while on the test stand.

Plan to build a scaled down Super Reaper, and mount the fan unit piggyback ala byroblaster enforcer!

Thanks,
Andrew Coholic

Default Break in procedure for DF engine/byron fan?

many years ago I brokein a os 77 for a byron setup. As I recall I had to use a 12-something prop cut back to 11. That is what the directions called for.I still have the prop somewhere. and it was wood too. hope this helps, look at those instructions again.
