Default Refuelling

How do you guys connect your refuelling line to your jet?

Any recommendations that allow for the least mess whilst connecting the supply line to the jet's fill line and be easy to connect/disconnect?

Thanks all,

ZM

I have an 8" floppy tygon from the UAT with a plug in it. So the acutally fueling connection is outside the airpane. Quick disconnects are easy, but can be a mess as you've found out!

I just put a Festo shut off valve on the fill line to the uat. It will reach outside the cockpit area.

That seems like a good idea. Is it easy to disconnect tubing from festo valves? I always seem to have trouble and end up breaking the blue plastic lips.

Todd's solution is probably the one that works with less mess. It is an excellent fueling system. NO LEAKS

I had the same idea of putting a festo valve too, but why add more to the equation and yes Todd's nicer, that's all.

Festo fittings are black and so far I haven't had any problems with them.

I've used the slimline F1 system, and the Festo shut off valve...both work
