I've got two planes with an on/off valve controlling the brakes. Both have restrictors in the lines just before the brakes to keep them from coming on too quickly. I'm now installing a BVM Smoothstop valve in my Skymaster Gripen with Airpower brakes. This is my first experience with a proportional brake valve.

Are airline restrictors necessary with a proportional brake valve?

Nope.... The BV smooth stop set up properly works great. Mine will hold air for 2 weeks...

Dump the restrictors since they are no longer needed...
