Guy's

Here is the deal.

About 1 month ago RCU policy was handed down saying no full scale photo's etc in the Jet Forum.

Today I was told that if the Fellow Jet Pilots want to change this to take a Poll.

Scale Photos help I feel and video gives U a better presentation on flying style.

U know where I stand I would prefer to allow both.

Finnaly the voice of reason! THreads that are of little interest die off anyway. I have always been for loosening the noose!

I'm all for full-scale stuff being allowed in the forums, as long as it is related to the forum it's posted in - in this case jets.

That needs to be consistent in all forums though - if you allow 'appropriate' full scale pics in the jets forum but not in (e.g. ) the warbirds forum, then it confuses the heck out of users who are used to posting pics in the jets forum and then get their head handed to them when they dare to post a pic in the warbird forum.

Allow pics site-wide as long as they are pertinent to the forum in question.

I like the idea of being able to post full size pics and videos but if the rules are different for different forums we need to be able to make it clear to members which rules apply to which forums.

It will also stop you guys being meeeean to me when I kill your full size posts!

Fast is good but faster can be better!

I'm glad to see some of my complaining in PM's to the moderators has finally paid off!!! Sorry if I was a PITA----The jet forum should be set up to the liking of the jet modelers---I'm all for it and while you're at it loosen the noose a little more in other aspects.....

Hola FalconWings:
Hello FalconWings:

Esta foto la encontré en Airliners, puede ser Torrejón perfectamente, pero tambien podria ser Zaragora.
This photo find it in Airliners, may be Torrejón, but is possile that would be Zaragoza.

Un saludo desde España.

Yeah...... that mountain in the background looks like the one between Barajas and the base.

The vote has achieved statistical significance right now so the democratic process is complete. We will allow both photos and videos of full scale jets in this forum by what appears to be about a 90% in favor of vote.
