Hey guys, I got a latch that was epoxied onto the fuse of my aircraft and the latch has gone bad. What if any is the best way to liquify the epoxy so I can replace the latch? Its very difficult to reach with a knife and much more difficult with a dremel. Just wondering if theres a better way other than banging it out (sp) with a hammer [:@] THanks

I opted for the heat.. worked great! Pretty much melted the latch right off. On goes the new one, hopefully without putting epoxy on the spring like the manufacturer did. Thanks fellas!
Sean, it was the one for the cockpit hatch....I'd be sanding for a week.

One sure fire way to debond any and all epoxy is to pull full up when inverted at about 75 feet up- That worked really well for me on Saturday. Scott
