Here are photos of the Zmodels Gripen I ordered......I am pleased with quality of the kit.
Received Kit Yesterday this is the model untouched..
Hinges installed into surfaces including rudder.....2 spars installed into the wings...Wings shaped for glass clothing.
Channeling installed onto the formers for the wing spars.
This is the Semi finished version.
See http:www.zmodel.it
Needs tailpipe and tanks. And sorry retracts oleos and brakes

My Feedback: (2)
Mick,
Looks great, I wondered if it was a direct copy of the PMP Gripen I have but from the looks of that photo it does not.
Any more photos, ,including the underneath and inside i'd like to see, also how do the gears retract into the fuse, and do the gear doors open out like the PMP Gripen or is it a different way.
Looks like a great value for the semi-finished version.
Thanks
Robert

I believe that the Zmodels Gripen is larger than the PMP (now PJP) Gripen in addition to the other differences.

This model is larger than Pmp.
PMP Gripen has a belly pan which is a nightmare to build....These wings plug in.
I thought before the model arrived that I would put a MW54 in it...
But now i have seen the size im going to put a Mercury in it.
Ill take some photos of the underneath later and post them.

Looks good.
I really like the look of the Fiat G-91 they also do. From the photos, it the kits appear to be good value.
Unfortunately, this little voice in the back of my had keeps telling me that I already have enough unstarted kits to keep me going another 12-18 months.

Hi all,
Received the credit card Bill:
The price of the semi - finished (delux) version of the Gripen was £545. This is everything included, tax and postage.

Had the Gripen 1 week before starting building it because I had to get the Starjet I was already building up to primer stage.
So it took 3 weeks from the first picture to now.
But this was a semi finished version, wings, canards were ready for glass cloth when the kit came through.
The pit falls of the kit were making the hatch fit, and also the composite fin fitting it to the fuz took loads of filling.
Oh The plane will be powered by a AMT Mercury Hp....Reckon it will weigh between 15 - 16 lbs. Should go well!!!!!!!

Fj is a bit busy and the weather was lousy last year. I'm hoping the weather will be better this year.
Whats your favorite jet show you attend in the UK or Europe? Traveling accross the Atlantic sounds like a big undertaking, but I've always wanted to come to Europe.

Scott,
The Nationals is at Barkston Heath in Lincolnshire, this is an ex RAF base, in sunny old England (NOT).
The best show (paying public) I would say is the Nationals this is August Bank holiday you dont have the same bank holidays as us.....Usually 25ish of August you get there Friday to set up go home Monday night....
The Nationals has loads of different flight lines, Imac, jets, heli's, Pylon racing, Fai aerobatic, scale aircraft, funfly and control line....In the evenings all of the blokes seem to get out their free flight models and it is a great laugh. It seems to be a thing about who can knock out the most people......
They also have a hangar open all night where people get worse for wear, amongst people throwing their rubber band models.
If you want a jet meet just pure jet flying then it has to be St Athan in Wales about 10 minutes from Cardiff airport. Everyone seems to get to this meeting....Sometimes they even give a Tornado display on the Friday night.....St Athan is usually 2 weeks after the Nationals. This is a well attended jet meeting....
St Athan is an RAF base, there is no paying public....
So its up to you......

Hello Mick.
I also want to buy this Zmodel Gripen, but in the home page there is no order sheet.
Do you know how to order to Zmodel in English?
Can you please advise me?
Best regards
Toshiaki
