What about it...

We are all surely going to do a bit of Airfield activity this next few days
...How about a few pics of what you have been up to, rather than scatter the photos all round various threads, lets put them all together here...dont really matter if we stray a bit from the pure Jet thing ....just what the usual contributors on the forum happen to put in the air over the Holiday
..... I'd even relax it enough to allow photo's of those foamy things with electric motors housed in cardboard tubes down the middle of the fuselage be posted up....
y'know the one's that come in Cornflake packets..
...MR TIGER...

Ok. here is a pic... just received it from Patake, our local builder. These are the new version of the JM-1, same size of the first version but now with full enclosed turbine, frontal air intake, retracts and transparent canopy. (One of them is mine, two others for friends)... the engines this time will be P-80´s and P-120.
About the black rectangles, sorry about them but they are sensitive material.... they will be unveiled at the 2006 jet speed event coverage.

I have lots of interesting model boats, occasionally I bring them out...
Anyway, here's what I flew today...
A Commonwealth Boomerang, the only one in the country, all the way from Australia. Still needs some sorting, it flies very poorly, hard to figure out...
And I tested my Flying Styro Tony, which was just BEAUTIFUL. Way too windy, but could not resist.
Flying Styro has a STAGGERING Me-262 coming out this month, in either single or two seat versions. I have the two seater on order, it will get retracts and Nachtjager Matreze antennae....

Rob, that's almost like the scene from the first Jurassic Park film.

Dave,
What are you doing on here? You should be finishing your L39 so you can post your pictures on the Easter thread
Or are you waiting for the Christmas thread?

My Feedback: (2)
My son and his girlfriend come over to cook an Easter Turkey (don't worry, I haven't heard of it before either...) So I left them alone in the kitchen and spent time down in the shop installing retracts....
Dinner was stylishly late...9 PM...but delish!!!!!!!
