Need help with motor problems

Ok so the motor starts and runs fine for the last few months.
Flew it the otherday and it was all fine.
Went to fly again and no start.
Checked the ecu and got "plug open".
Changed the plug, it started and flew.
Went to start again later and nothing.
Will not ignite the gas.
Changed plugs twice, still no gas ignition.
Changed the start gas settings up and down, still nothing.
Took the motor out of the plane and put it on a test stand.
Still no start.
Varied gas and glow settings, no help.
Checked all gas lines, even under the cowling. All good. Put air through the lines, no restrictions anywhere.
Held a torch to the rear of the motor during a start attempt. Gas ignites then blows out torch.
Still will not ignite on it's own.
WHats next? Any ideas?

Have you checked to see if you have a good ground, have you tryed and checked the glow plug from our side the turbine but still connected to see if you are getting a glow through your ECU, and do you have enough coils pulled out of the glow plug.
What turbine are you runnging?
ECU version?
Glow plug?
just some thoughts...

Do you any kind of restriction on the propane side. I have a SimJet 2200 and it has an adjustable restrictor, and I had it closed to much, and I could not get it to light but when I opened it up "ignition"...
How many Coils do you have pulled out of the plug?
What turbine are you running?

Its a t-500
All the propane lines are checked, gas is getting through, we lit it at the back of the turbine to check.
Ran air through lines, just will not start on its own suddenly.

The only thing I can think of is the coils are not pulled out far enough. You said the turbine ran, then it would not start, then you checked the glow plug and it was open; then you replaced the plug and the haven't got a start since. Only thing I can think of is the coils are not pulled out far enough, you need 2 coils pulled out of the plug. use a needle or a pair of fine tweezers.

At times I will get the same problem as you are describing and have ck'd and replaced the plug and ck'd all the other components.I find that when this happens,it is usually in the receiver start mode.I have found when I recharge the receiver and ECU battery to full charge,the engine restarts as before.The GSU does not show low voltage.Also if you are using on board propane bottle,purge it and refill.

Ronnie, check and make sure that your EGT probe is not shorted out-That will cause blown plug and no ignition issues. Try and start it with a standard glow driver and see if everything else works fine. Connect the glow plug wires from the ECU together to fool the ECU then attach a seperate glow driver, turn it on and initiate a start sequence. If it starts up you will know you have a issue with the ECU driver circuit. A short anywhere will cause the plug not to light. Check your starter to make sure that you dont have a short in anything there also. I just went through this with a RAM-turned out the little preload device (that little hat shaped thingiy on the end of the starter with a ball bearing in it) on the end of the starter had come loose allowing the starter motor to come too far forward and short out enough to fault the glow sequince.
