The exhaust has to exit the side of the aircraft so that's why no single turbine

I'm stuggling to work out how this works! There's no nozzles on this model (you can see straight through the nozzle holes), and no obvous jet efflux outlet.
Anyone worked it out??!

Anton,

Will the conventional version still retain the scale looks with the nozzles on the side? I’m assuming the turbines will be mid mounted with exhaust out of the rear nozzles?? Can you post a picture of this setup that was used to test fly.

Nigel

You are not seeing through, you are seeing a reflection in the steel tubes that stop at the fuselage skin. I guess the angle out stops the fuselage burning.

Whoa now that's abit different!! Dont think that's going to appeal to the purist amongst us (I am an ex RAF Harrier engineer).... just my humble opinion..... I know you loose some thrust with a bifurcated exhaust and I'm sure Lukai or Anton have done some tests so would be interesting to see some figures (for loss of thrust) but I would have thought that a single larger engine with the exhaust split out of the rear nozzles would have been better....... this is certainly the way I am inclining as my Harrier project progresses. As I said before, just my humble opinion.

Any chance you will develop a scale Fan like the A-10 to keep the scale look inside the intake?

I think an engine out performance and handling could be interesting.

Default Joel Vlashof Harrier Electric

Hi inspired by Skymaster i treid to build the harrier, and i wanted this model for so long. it took me 3 years to develop the pegasus and to make it work fully electric. it needs more work before doing a transition but that could be very soon

Some numbers
130mm EDF
2x 30mm edf for roll ( going to remove them and use bleeding from the schubeler)
2x 6S 4000 70C lipo

scale 1:7
