well after all was said and done i came up with 2 degrees of positive incidence on the fuse with the plane sitting on it's gear. i wasn't able to cut the the robart robostrut short enough to get the nose down. if worst comes to worst , i'll have to buy a taller set of main gear to get the back up. i'm hoping the nose up will help get the plane off quicker, warbird

Hi Warbird, I had the same issue with the incidence and not being able to shorten the front strut, I ended up simply bending the main gear a very small amount at the fuse and the adjusting the camber at the wheels. The amount of bending that is required is very small and it has not affected the strenght of the gear at all, I have done a few nasty landings and the gear holds it's new shape. I have also put an aircraft cable between the two main gear arms and find this helps alot with the dreaded AV8R bounce that can occasionaly happen.
