K, I bought this JHH F-16 and Im giving it the one over. This servo is really, really in there. No screws or anything and its inside the fuse (thrust tube area). Any ideas on how to get this thing out. Im going to replace it anyway but I dont wanna destroy anything. Looks like its epoxied in.

There are two types of remover you want to look for at the Depot or Wally World:
GOOF OFF or GOO GONE
Let the stuff soak for a day or two before trying to pry the servo loose. Use heat as a last choice as it can also soften the fuselage.

Its times like this that I have to ask myself, why, or why, didnt I just build it from scratch. I dont see too many used planes in my future.

i'd watch the heat gun. it will work but to much heat in the wrong spot and it will melt the glass fuse. you might try a hot puddy knife. you can heat it with a propane torch and work it between the mount and the servo case. you will destroy the servo

MAke a plate to fit your soldering iron - heat it up and push it under the servo, it'll shift
Have you just tried levering it with a screwdriver ?

If you can fit it in there, just take a dremel with metal grooved bit and go to town on that servo and mounts. Forget saving the servo.

Peter, Ouch man, thats harsh
Ok, so I went ahead and destroyed the servo. I thought about the heat gun and the other options I've been given by all you people and it just came down to the fact that I'd rather destroy the servo (which is probably done anyway) than possible harm the fuse. So, Its out. I took the mighty dremel to it and out it came. When the one side came out the rest wedged out quiet easily. To be honest the epoxy was barely holding onto it and had turned a sort of gummy texture that had no real bonding power left. I'll be removing the rest of the servo's that came with it and throwing them out. I also had the bolts holding the fan on snap off (all of them) so out came the dremel again to remove the blind nuts on the back side of the mount. This jet obviously hasn't had a lot of work done to it in some time but be rest assured that it will be in top notch form before I fly it.
Thanks for the input people. I really appreciate knowing my options
