Sung,

Sunday is always my day to be there. Smoke is working on the TopCat now. UltraViper last weekend said he'd try to be out again with his BobCat. Maybe we can get JackJet to show up and take charge since he's back in town.

Lakebed is hard and dry, all entrances open.

I just logged flight #30 on my MB339. Its been a lot of fun flying this thing. I too have smoke and will give it a try this weekend. I will try the Bobcat again, if I can get the gyro figured out. What else are ou gonna bring out?

Just the TopCat, the MB-339 is on the shelf since I only have the one engine. Has 116 flights. How's the Macchi Bounce on yours??

Lost interest in the DF L-39 I have until I get a turbine for it.

Maybe JackJet will bring out his Cook F-4 twin (hint).

Rick, I think I have it figured out. I cut the throttle when she is directly infront of me on the downwind leg. I hit fulll flaps, extend the downwind and on final, I just keep it 3 to 4 feet above ground and hold the nose and let it bleed off the speed. It touches down real slow and it seems to keep the bounce away. I gotta say, the learning process was painful.

I hope Jack can makes it out, he does get a lot of flights on the F-4 each time he comes out.

My real slow landings were some of the worst, including once a full cartwheel. If it works for you, cheers!

Rick,Yale,Mav, Ron,
I sent my turbine back to Carlos for bearings, so no Bobcat for this sunday. I will bring the Wildcat out for Ron. Looks like I might have to bring my prop bird for something to fly. Rick, I am still planning to go to the AMA show on Sat.

Ok, Yale, we'll be looking for you.

UltaViper - I'm still probably going to blow off the IMS show. Isn't much I need this year unless JetCat has a killer show special I can't pass up!

Paul, I hope to get there by 8 AM, but in reality its probably gonna be around 9. I just got by BVM F16 I wish it was ready, but maybe next time we could take both of the up together.

Paul, are you gonna go to the IMS show today? I plan on going around 1 PM today for a few hours.

Hey Sung look for Ken and I there, we usually buy lot's of knick knacks. Servo screws, servo wires etc. buy $100.00 worth over the weekend and avoid paying $300 during the year for the same stuff. We should be there by noon

Mr. Kaos,

I was wondering if I could get the # of your dietitian. I need to slim down a bit like you. Also what's the name of the plane that your flying? Seems like I can see through it.

Don't do it, DCM! In the picture, you can see Kaptain Kaos only has 3 fingers on each hand!

The plane in the picture is the newest stealth technology. Great for fuel consumption too! Ane the three fingers....maybe thats a clue to where the technology came from.

Yes Ron, I think your right... what was I thinking?

Besides that my math skills would suffer greatly being able to only count to six!

Wait I think I have toes.......

From: Victorville, CA,
Default Who was there??

Ed, Duff, Ron, myself, Ultraviper, Yale, Sung & Jason + ??? Agressor, Hotspots, Viper, TopCat's, Bobcats, Bandit, MB-339, etc. Some of the Violet stuff was DF, else mostly turbines.

Sung had a couple problems with his Macchi and Bobcat, both fixable but not a good day for him, too bad for such a nice day.

Ultraviper did a Cobra maneuver 3' off the ground with Yale's Topcat on landing but recovered gracefully to a firm landing. Minor gear bending.

Everything else was going well when I left. Maybe Sung or UV can chip in on the rest of the day.

Default Good day

Sounds like it was a fun filled day. I spent Sunday in New Orleans with Woketman. He flew his Isobar.
