I agree with Thai Tiger - there just isn't ANY F-16 gear out there that has been tested and has proven itself over so many years,
in so many models and by so many people - it is THE best UC ever made for a 1:6 F-16. Period

+1 on what Tor said. These SM F-16s are the best! I am about to get back into another one…really wanting the new 1/5 scale they are putting out soon.

Man 2014 is going to be the year for skymaster:

1/5 F-16
1/7 F-15
Avanti XXL

Wonder what else is in the pipeline? A big 1/3 Hawk I hope.

Hey guys, as the days come closer for me going home I am looking at a few things I still need to buy for my jet. I bought the 3rd success pack that BVM puts out. It has the BVM uat and a few little things. The problem is is that I want to get the 1st success pack, but I dont know what it all includes. It tells you these items....
Group 1 Includes - Laser cut former + parts, C/F crossbrace, air fittings, control horn, fill valves, air gauges, hardware, etc.

What the heck does etc mean? I kinda need to know so I can order other stuff for my jet. the picture shows more items than what is described. I need to know if it comes with festo fittings or a rotary valve. I need to know that kinda stuff. and they dont let you know at all.

Thanks for your guys time.

Steven

I totally see that, and have decided to stay with the original gear. I keep debating with myself whether to send te UC to LiKai for modification into todays standard, or if I will modify like intendes above, using extra cylinders.

Send it in Mavpro.

The changes to the gear were made for a reason, better safe than sorry, I'd like to see how long it takes them to turn it around & also what the cost would be.

Hello Jeff,

Sorry to hear about your F16.
This thread has been a great help while I have been building mine.
Found the P160SX marginal.
In the process of slotting a K180G with a matching TamJet Pipe.
Should be ready to go again in a few weeks.

Damo,
Do the Mod that BVM has done to the Rudder.
Rock Solid.

Anton confirmed on the Skymaster Facebook page today all new 1/6th scale F16's will be supplied with the rudder servo mounted in the tail box, externally accessible & with a direct connection to the base of the rudder.

Will this work........time will tell.
