Default Reaction 54 control surface settings.

Hello, I have a Reaction 54 that I purchased built, and I don't have the instructions giving the suggested control surface throws for it. What are you guys flying R-54's using for high/low rate settings on ailerons, elevator, rudder and flaps?Thank you.

From Bruce's early IB the recommended control throws are as follows:

Ailerons 3/4" up, and 5/8" down
Elevator 5/8 UP and down
Rudder 1-1/2" left and right
Flaps full 60 degrees, down elevator mix with full flaps: 1/8"

He cautions that these are fairly active settings-so easy on the sticks for the first flight or two, then adjust throwns to suit your flying style.

I found these settings just about right for me.

I've found the book recommendations to be a good starting point, but I added 20% expo to the elevator and upped the aileron throws by 20%, and increased the aileron differential a bit as well.
