I have the Skymaster ARF Plus version and it is a fantastic little plane. I have great fun with it and the build was a walk in the park. So you can't go wrong with that one. As for the X-tremejets version,--- it is not the same quality. The moldet parts will be heavier as they are not using the same techniques for molding. As far as I know the X-tremejets version is not on the market yet, but I'm quite sure that someone will tune in here when it is out.

Great pictures Stig! My Rafale will be shipped after the first of the year. Quality looks great from the pictures you have submitted. I will also post pictures because I know most in my flying area (Markham Park) want to know. I think it's going to be a hit! Just as Skymaster intruduced the F-15 back when, X-tremejets will probably put an end to the rest.

I think they plan to put out all the models that skymaster used to.
Has anyone called them? Do they speak english?
Keep up the good work stig! If I ordered a rafal I'd get the ARF and painted in the sport scheme. Retracts look pretty good. Have you tried them and if so do they hold air?

A friend of mine received his Rafale (White ARTF version) over the holidays. He sent me pictures, looks outstanding. He said he was impressed with the quality and with the landing gear as well. The packaging was well done and secure. Recieved it within three days of the e-mail confirmation from X-treme Jets. He told me the jet smells like Hysol once out of the box. The landing gear openings are initially cut for use without gear doors, but has the outlines for the gear door option. I think the FB Rafale is like this as well.
However, his kit did not come with the dual wall exhaust stainless pipe. Did anybody else get a Rafale missing a pipe or other components? Is e-mail still down as a result of the earthquake over there?

I sent payment in the form of wire transfer back in December 15. I got an e-mail from Anton that he got the money and would ship out on Monday the 1st. Since his e-mail is out, hopefully Morne might give me an update as to the tracking number so I can make arrangements with DHL and my schedule.

i deal with chinese for many many many years (10) now.
and somehow no "mattah" what the destruction is they always find a way to contact you.
so if you guys need some parts from China just order their little cable seems not to be cut.
most of the time these cables repair themselfes by sending a email and you put in the subject line "i want to transfer lots of money"
most filters in china let these emails go thru and somehow they find their way to the receiver even wireless.....
Try Paypal i guarantee that it will be collected[8D]
dont put anythin like "missing parts"in the subject line...
these stick and are send back most of the time...
causing noice in the line and they go astray...
but someone like yourself has a open line to SA and China mainland...
even my Helmet made it from China..
it is the latest model of "Break in jet model "tool.. save,s headeaches..

I'm a bit confused after reading your post, Sandor. I'm not sure what you are trying to say. But never mind. This thread is about the Rafale kit and buying experiences. I'm quite sure you have NOT purchased a X-tremejets kit since you are a dealer for FeiBao. So one might think, that you are trying to draw negative attention to this thread. I hope not.

That is the smell of polyester! It´s cheaper then the epoxyd resin.....
I´ve got a other first batch kit (from a other manufacturer) that smells like that...ugly and heavy.....

You voluntarily tell silly things on anton for discredited and to make the promotion of your store, that is not honest.
I don't doubt that fei bao made good material, but each one is free to buy what he wants (fei bao or xtreme jet or ??).
I made the experiment buy xtrem jet and I am completely satisfied of my rafale and A10!

I didn't see any F15's on the Fei Bao site so X-treme must be getting them from somewhere else... I'd like to know where as I'd like to see some more pics and info on the F15 that they are offering.....

Fei Bao arer the ones doing the knock offs .... Anton (Skymaster) is the designer who used to contract Fei Bao, who ended up tooling for Anton's planes ....
