I've been by the Baymount when www.Z06VETTE.com has there annual Z06 Fest at the Corvette Museum here in B.G. and they always have a great time and pretty much do whatever they want. They always set up a big tent and just hang out in there lawn chairs and chat.
IMO I think it would be a good call to have it there.
Can't wait till the meet!!

Pilots please let me know if you will be needing a flight line tent . The Skymac group is still trying to raise sponsorship to provide a pilot tent on the flight line for all pilots like Ky. Jets. So far the companies supporting the event tent AMT USA, Jet Central.
Thanks, be sure to make reservation asap or you might not have a room.

Pilots and Spectators please make your res. at Baymont inn( 270-843-3200) asap. Cynthia will hold the rooms til May 14th 2007. The Bowling Green area will be very limited with double rooms that weekend due to a soccer tourn. I will release the rooms back to the soccer tour after the 14th.

Pilots please let me know if you are staying in a motor home. This will allow us to look at our electric service. The pre reg. will have first shot at electric outlets.
Thanks Mike

Just a quick reminder that the Baymont Inn will release any remaining rooms reserved for the Bluegrass Jet Jam and the event rate on May 18. Had a fellow pilot call this morning and he informed me that the Baymont tried to not honor the special rate after May 1. We called them and it was a simple mistake on their part. If you have made reservations at the Baymont since May, 1 then please call them and make sure you got the BGJJ rate. They said they still have around 30 doubles left and if you have any problems contact Cynthia Sprouse at Baymont.
22 More days guys, its almost here. We also have prepped the runoffs and rolled them, the transition from the pavement to the grass is near seamless and the field is in great shape.
Looking forward to a great Event,
Justin

I was also notified that a flyer link was broken on the first page of this thread and since RCU will not let you edit old messages I decided to just put a few set of links on this post:

Right at 17 days before the event just wanted to give a shoot out and a big thanks to John Ligons of AMT USA and Eric Clapp of Jet Central, Artes Turbines for being our main sponsors and providing two pilot tents similiar to Kentucky Jet last year, consisting of one 40x60 and one 40x50 tent that will allow us to let pilots pit under on a first come basis all for FREE with event registration, this is a clever idea thought of by the guys putting on KY Jets, so clever that we thought we would see how it went at our event. Once again, and big thanks to both John and Eric!!!

I would like to say thanks to AMT John Ligons and Jet Central Eric Clapp for working with me on this issue to make the event better for the pilots. I believe these guys to be great support for our hobby relations. Two competitors coming together to help the SKYMAC club and the pilots of the Blue Grass Jet Jam.
