Default 2007 Bluegrass Jet Jam

The 2007 Bluegrass Jet Jam will be held during the dates of May 31 through June 3 of 2007. The Southern Kentucky Model Aero Club is hosting the event at the club owned facility which is neselted right off I-65 Exit 28 in Bowling Green, Ky. This is the second annual BGJJ since the resurrection of the event in the early 1990's. This event is focused around helping the club mantain and futher update their facility aswell as promoting R/C Jets and the awsome comradery that goes along with it.

Last year was a big success, now almost a year later our updated facility has settled in and is in great condition, ready to go for a great year of flying in 2007.

Thanks Guys,
Your support has been greatly appr. I not sure when 32 pilots keep the air filled from dawn til dusk. The Bowling Green area is still writing articals about the meet and can not wait til this year.
Oh Yea Gerry,
The carbon ultra viper has been flown now ( needs more power but the p-60 cruises it around after the first turns. ( kinda like the old fans on that take off, needs more elevator and flaperons on take off. I think i will ease in to that. (15 pounds 11 oz dry).

THE FIELD WILL BE OPEN ALL WEEK FOR JET PILOTS

THANKS MIKE

JET LAG,
The rooms were rented to a soccer championship. The rooms were blocked without notification to our group. I should have enough doubles and kings block for the Jet Jam. I would make sure bye getting the reservation soon, as you have suggested.
IF ANY ROOM ISSUES PLEASE CALL ME AND WILL ASSIST YOU. I ALSO HAVE BLOCKED 2008 ROOMS AS WELL. THIS HAS BEEN A OVERSITE BYE HAMPTON INN AND MYSELF ONLY ALLOWING 9 MONTHS ADVANCE FOR BLOCKING ROOMS IS NOT ENOUGH TIME.
The Baymount Inn has helped me thru this issue. They will be the host hotel in 2008 and will co-host this year. ( THANKS BAYMOUNT INN )

Thread: Bowling Green Jets Hotel Info

"If anybody is looking for an inexpensive room for Bowling Green Jets the Red Roof Inn has newly remodeled rooms (6 months ago) for $60.00 per night. I have stayed in some of the new Red Roof's and they are usually very nice. It is right next to the Drury Inn which was twice the price. If anyone needs more info let me know.

The hotel phone number is (270) 781-6550"
