On my new model, I will need to run a pair of servos in the rudders and rather than using a 'Y' lead, I was thinking of using Hitec digital servos, with one reversed. I also need to do this on the elevators - I have read that JR Matchboxes are not recommended on flight surfaces such as ailerons and elevators?
What's the preferred method of servo installation - digital reversed or Matchbox?
Thanks

There are a LOT of guys running matchboxes on primary control surfaces in the giant scale 3D world with no problems where the loads/surface size/deflection are all extreme. I would take that comment about them with a pinch of salt.

I would just get 2 good Hitec servos .. the 5945 servos are great if you want to run a Y-Cable ..... if you have a power box of some sort, or are using separate leads from the RX, i would recomend the 5955 servos .... I chose to go with Hitecs on my JMP Firebird... after doing much research, I believe these to be some of the best servos out there ... no slop, programability, and better reliability than other popular brands ..

I'm running Hitecs on my Viperjet Ailerons and Flaps, steering, awesome deal with the Hitecs been strong, reversable, no slop. On the 9c, If you are running out of channels use Hitecs on the Flaps reprogram the travel and speed and use your nineth channel for Flaps.
