Looking for some answers on building the L39 from Airworld, I cant read German and I cant figure out some of the building examples from the vague photos on the disk..
First question:
Does the Nose Gear Assembly slide all the way up to the lip on the nose of the fuse, or does it slide as far as the bulkhead will allow and then you cut some of the fuse and some of the nose cone for the doors?
It doesnt seem to make any sense to cut the fuse and the nose cone.. but the bulkhead doesnt go all the way to the lip on the fuse, do I sand down the bulkhead?
2nd Question:
Do you make your own control surface horns for ailerons, flaps and elevators or are they hidden in the CNCd wood parts?
How do the horns attach to the leading edge of the control surface? can you cut the leading edge strip and sink the horn into the surface?
more questions to come I'm sure...
