how far out does the tailpipe have to go so as not to burn the elevstor and fuse?

I had mine cut to the shape of the fuse. I did screw on a sheet of aluminum under the fuse where it gets flat behind the pipe though, no problems with it there. The current owner put a longer pipe in, it extends almost to the back point on the fuse, doesn't look as nice but works just fine

I have alway thought the exocet to have a very sexy design. The intakes are very nice. I had a kit and sold it at FJ to a bahamian man. I am not much of a builder. I would certainly consider it if it was offered in arf form. The white and blue is very striking, nice job on the paint. Good luck with it.
