Does anyone know how the quote system works?

Does the quote come from the selected rep or the factory? i.e Can you get different quotes by selecting different reps? Has anyone got cheaper prices from a dealer/shop than the online order or are all prices held the same?

Where do the kits ship from? My quote has 110 Euro charge for shipping (for a Rookie) which I think is excessive. I would have thought they would have shipped from Europe but maybe they com direct from the factory.

In my case I got a personal quote of 4 to 8 weeks. Paid in full the day they gave me a price, then waited 16 weeks for delivery. Paid for carriage to my door. Had to go to the international airport to collect it (refused to deliver). Then charged $40 airport handling.
Nice jets, but be prepared to WAIT.

I just got my new Eurosport in the Jolly Roger sceme yesterday. I ordered the kit two weeks ago. I picked the rep. for Scandinavia. Within 24 hours I had a quote AND an email from my rep. and he said that the kit was in stock in Germany, so they should be able to ship the kit as soon as they received my payment. I have bought several kits from C-ARF and never had any problems. They even sent me a free replacement wing for my Roo once, when the aileron delaminated in flight.[X(] I'm a satisfied customer of C-ARF

Depending upon the responsibility given to the rep, the quote comes straight from him. Others may be completed by the factory but the price will not change from the factory or from rep to rep as the prices are fixed.

All kits from Europe are held in a German warehouse. Once again, shipping prices are fixed but obviously alter for whatever kit is ordered and box size. Any accessories or optional items ordered with the kit will add 20EUR to the shipping as these smaller items are shipped under separate cover. Don't forget that other manufacturers may ship for less but we use full value fully insured couriers. If someone sticks a fork lift truck through your box we ship another asap and do all the chasing up and claiming for you - all u need do is sit tight for the next box!
