For those that have this jet, what servos are you using on the ailerons and flaps? On my rudder I am using DS168 and on the elevator I am using DS8711.
I was thinking DS3301 on ailerons and JRZ650M on the flaps, what do you think?

Hello...
I'm fitting 2 JR DS8711 on the elevators, JR DS3421 on the rudder, 2 JR DS9411 on ailerons and 2 JR DS8411 on the flaps...
Elevator and flap servos aren't a problem because virtually any servo can fit so you can choose what you prefer.
Rudder and aileron bays instead are quite small and I've been doing quite a lot of research to find the most powerful servos I could fit there...
The DS9411 are definitely the biggest I could find and that fit for the ailerons.
For the rudder you can choose between DS3421 or Hitec HS-5245 if you prefer...

Tam, Mauri, do you think the DS3421 on rudder will be sufficient with nylon gears; thats my only worry about that servo. When I owned a Skymaster Hawk I used the nylon servo and it shreaded the gears from either flutter or break of former. The DS168 has metal gears but alittle less torque, and have heard them to be used in the F-18E's. I think I will do 2 DS8611 on the flaps since the price are the same as the 8411's. Thanks Tam, and Marui for the info...

David, WOW!!! you got another jet on the table, increadable. I'm in the process of building a my second Hawk, ( the first one had a little incident at FJ, remember ) Call me or PM me if you need any help with this one also, so far on this one I got the elevators ( stabs ) secure and the Ailerons and Flaps glued to the wings, I will be at Tam's shop working on it today all day starting with the Rudder servo, call if you like I have build info that will be helpfull.
Have fun building.
PS: Send me a picture of your Rafale, I'm about to finish my forth one to be flown at Winamack. Yes the JR3421's work just fine for the Rudder.

I already had the DS-8411, you'll be ok with the 8611!
