whodaman, which one did you stop buying from, asia or bvm. i was confused with your reply. also, i wish i could buy that f84 of yours. do i have anything you want on a trade? jet, prop, dog, lawnmower? you name it. i love that jet. maybe i can get rick to buy it so it will at least be close to me. barry

Hi Barry:
I know that the BV jets are built here and are costly to build,,, I meant Asia, slave labor US prices. So this does not go further than that, I know its always about the Benjamin, BUT,,, one gets rich the other bust his butt to get the job done. Yes please convince Rick to get the F-84,,, I just have way to much stuff.

Spin this anyway you want.
I offered to pay you for the shipping PLUS extra cash.
You agreed, no kit arrived.

You are in this neck deep.

You know exactly what you had planned.

You and Troy Built are together in this and you know it. They didn't magically come up with this, you were there for the entire ride.

I have no knowledge of any intent to "splash, copy or knock off" the JetMach design.

This is a 100% lie and you know it.

See Eric the nasty thing about email is that it gets forwarded to so many people that it eventually will bite you in the rear.

Ronnie:

I do not want to assume, but are you referring to the email I sent to Limeybob regarding the estimated costs to ARF'ing the JetMach? If so, I only sent it to him and cannot control where it goes after that. If you are referring to the email with the pictures you posted in this thread, yes, I did receive it. I was not asked for opinions, comments, suggestions or anything relative to the pictures. I will be glad to forward it to you to read if you would like.
As far as biting me in the rear, not something I would wish on anyone at any time. Being in the sights of anyone who selects you as a target, is never good especially as I stated before, if by those who assume and have virtually no "one on one" involvement with the person and issue. That's it for me. Sent you a PM. I look forward to your call. BTW have you seen the new Feibao "Velox?" Now where have we seen this before?

Best regards,
Eric Clapp

Eric I understand rip offs happen all the time.
This one was just too silly.

Here's what I think is going on.

I think you sent the plans to your friends to get a quote. When we were not interested you shopped this to Troy Built Models.
They excepted it as an ARF of their own.

I really do not think we are wrong here. It's quite obvious.

Like I said we will not attempt to stop anything.
You guys enjoy.

We have new designs coming out anyway.

I for one will never do business with you or Troy Built Models ever!

And yes as ou stated this has nothing to do with Jet Central, and god forbid something goes wrong with my motors I will certainly bypass you

Ronnie:

Think for just a moment about your last post. You state "when we (you and Limeybob) were not interested" I proceeded with doing what ever. . .Ronnie, I never knew what the decision was until you told me less than two weeks ago. I had no voice communication and little if any email from you or Limeybob regarding the intentions of either one of you regarding the JetMach ARF. Bottom line is I have never had an interest in ARF'ing the JetMach or being involved in ARF'ing the JetMach. "Shop it to TBM. . .did not happen. I am not, nor do I have an interest in being involved in the ARF'ing business of RC Model Ariplanes. I simply do not have the desire or time. My only error with this whole issue was opening my mouth and offering the help which you requested and later Limeybob pursued with me.

Best regards,
Eric Clapp

Oh so your "friends" at Troy Built magically came up with this design and just randomly emailed you the updates of the progress?

Right!

What do you know about Nick Ziroli's Turbanator?
I'm gonna guess you will have no idea what I'm talking about.

BTW when you talk to Bob, you are talking to me and vice versa.
Bob is like family to me and I will go out of my way to protect his interests.

Ronnie:

This will be my last post on this thread as I believe I have given you every avenue to contact me and ask me any question you would like.

As for Nick Ziroli's Turbinator, I know a lot about it. I was involved with several meetings between Nick Ziroli, Gene Payson and one other individual whose name honestly escapes me. My understanding was and still is, TBM and Nick Ziroli have an agreement in place to produce the ARF version of Nick's design. I have seen the Turbinator fly and had the opportunity to look closely at the design. I have been asked my opinion of several areas of the design, including how to economically produce it as well as how to package it so shipping costs are minimized. I have no knowledge of the progress of the Turbinator ARF or if it will even happen. If Nick or Gene want to chime in, I am sure they will. Well, I trust this answers your latest post.

Glad to know you and Bob are very close. This is a good thing.

Ronnie, please as I have requested before, give me a call with any other questions.

Thanks,
Eric Clapp

Honestly, I cant tell the difference between your aircraft and a Reaction 54 with high wings vice the low wing. Did you design the Reaction54 too? Im not much into these types of birds so Im not sure of the history of them.

If it is truly a copy, did you have some kind of a patent on the design or written agreement with Eric? From what I have seen in this business, it is a MUST HAVE. Particularly after some of the previous clones to surface.

Who is this ???? You have obviously never looked at these two planes together.

Why do I need to contact you?

The only thing that will come from that is me verbally abusing you.

The odds of you and your friends randomly coimg out with this is astonishing.

So much so that I think we should check your pockets for lottery tickets!

Look for more new designs coming soon that you guys can try and copy.

Guys

Many months ago, RCU decided not to allow Business-to-Business dispute to be discussed in any of the discussion forums. We still allow customer-to-business dispute to be discussed to an extent.

In consideration with the forgoing, and in consideration that both parties have stated their facts and the thread in now degenerating to words statement not pertaining to the main topic, I herby close this thread.

I wish both parties the best luck and hope they get their differences resolved amicably
