A question for all JetJoe owners. Does anyone know Gabe the USA support guy. I have a JJ1400 that I'm really tired of messing with. Havent been able to get it running in over a year and I've had and built many turbines for many years.
This turbine jj1400 is just about to go into the trash. This guy Gabe said he will get it running, suppost to be a USA support for Jetjoe. There is no warrenty on this motor so I'm not sending it to China.
Jim.

That sucks. I was thinking of trying one out, but not anymore. Here's the website for jetjoe (Gabe). [link=http://www.jetjoeus.com/]http://www.jetjoeus.com/[/link]

I don't understand why people continue to buy these things.
I understand that a lot of people are looking for a cheap alternative to getting into this hobby. Unfortunately there just really isn't that option turbine wise.
Every once in awhile someone is going to get one of these run right, but the majority is just going to continue to have problems.
Why not put the money toward a known engine that works?

Yes I know Gabe Brown and he can get your engine running the way it is supposed to. What is the problem you are having with your engine if you don't mind me asking?

Gabe should be able to help, he did help me and mine is working perfectly, but I already knew what the issue was, he helped with the parts and knowledge, send me an email with the details of your problem so I can compare to mine, if behaviour is the same it's a fairly easy fix.

I'm glade Gabe is known. I didnt want to send off the jj to some unknown person. At last a US JJ fixumup guy. The jj will not self sustane, flames out the back you name it. I have a good ECU good pump etc. Jetjoe sent me a new combustion chamber and fuel ring. Still wont run.
I suspect the read bearing is gone. Anyway its in pieces. I was going to rebiuld it last winter but got side tracked got tried of messing with it, almost dug a hole in the back yard to bury it but the ground was too frozen.
I wanted to see what a Jetjoe turbine was all about thats why I have it.

Jim,
Gabe was one of my BEST friends in High School and is still a VERY good friend to me. When he moved away we didnt stay in touch as much but he is still the same GREAT guy he always was. I got to see Gabe again at Superman 2006 and he was so thrilled about Jet Joe products and he would do anything he could for his customers. From what I witnessed with his tent next to my trailer during the several days I was at Superman he was giving his customers top notch service. I currently use another turbine manufacturer but would buy a product from Gabe because of his support. Do you need his Phone number?

I met him at Gateway in Eurika , Mo this weekend, Gabe as a workaholic, and I watched his turbines preform
flawlessly. Especially when you consider the value, A great entry level turbine, Capable of High Proformance flight.
A certain amout of Modeling skills are requiered for all Turbojet engines...

It takes less skill to start a jetcat or artes than it does a saito! First one I ever tried started on the first try and worked great. Hope Jetjoe gets sorted out. It wouold be great to get a new reliable turbine for under 2K. Bob
