Hi Guys
Looks like I may be able to attend the event June 8,9, 10. Where are the closest motels / where do most stay?
TIA

RE: Idaho Jets
Hi Dean,
I have a reservation at the "The Court" motel in Parma - only motel in Parma I believe, as it is a small town. Other motels are a ;ittle distance away.
Here is the no: 208-722-6734
It's 39.95 per night and that includes the taxes. For the price, it probably isn't the swankiest place. I'm taking my chances its OK.

I was talking with Bob tonight about motels in town and with Parma only having 1700 people, it is the only one in town. We have camped with the trailer in the city park just two blocks from there. It is on the main street so it might not be the quietest. Only two miles or so to the flying site.

Up Hwy 95 about 6 miles or so is Nyssa, Oregon. It has twice as many people and I think the motel is a little newer.
Arrow Head Motel

Just off the Interstate 84, in Ontario, Oregon (population 11,000) you have the better known named motels. It is about 15 - 17 miles to the flying site but definitely much newer facilities.

RE: Idaho Jets
Here is the event poster. Parma is located near the Oregon-Idaho border, south of Interstate 84 about 15 miles. If you were coming from Winnemucca, go north on US 95 till it ends and your almost to Parma. Hope that helps.
