Default Halon Question???

I had a very hot start today. It got so hot that I thought the tail sectin of my L-39 was about to go completely. I shut the turbine down and shot my Halon extinguisher into each intake port. My question is, do I need to pull the turbine for inspection before I try another start?

Thanks in advance

I have filled a motor with Halon before and started it 10 minutes later, no issues

The neat thing about halon is that it just goes away, and does not corrode. Wish you could still get it as easy as it used to be. We used it on the F-16 to inert the fuel tanks for combat. Bob

Thanks for the responses Shok & B58.

I waited a bit and tried another start and everything came up fine.

You might want to check out your tail section for damage though (if it was that hot...)
