Default Bandit nose

Had a little mishap this weekend with my bandit. I broke off the first 6" of the plane and Im looking to see if anyone has a good nose piece laying around.

Thanks!

squirt...
You might be able to repair it if you are careful, if it isn't like confetti.
If you choose to replace the nose and can't find one on RCU, call Patty at BVM (407-327-6333) and see if BVM will lay up the nose section for you. They used to do this for repair projects such as yours.
Be sure to specify which Bandit it is....Heritage (Original) Bandit or Super Bandit. I don't know what the price will be, but it will be better than any other option.

Harley,

Im in the process of attempting a repair. I think it will turn out OK...but I prefer just to replace the section. I called and talked to Dave S. at BVM he said they didnt have any parts. Tried to get ahold of Barry West and wasnt able to get ahold of him either.

I have it CA'd back together and glassed from the inside. Ive started filling it...looks OK but I think that just switching noses would be much cleaner.

Hey Mr. Mills, I think Lawn dart better describes the affected area. Sorry I couldn't resist. Mike

Not sure I would describe it as a "lawn dart"....lets just say that I proved my need for a gyro in the bandit on takeoff.

BTW Mike, if your grass wasnt so soft I would have never had this problem...its your fault
