I have a question concerning the BVM 'puffer' pipe. I have an OS91 and I recently acquired the BVM puffer pipe. I installed it on the 91 and it felt somewhat loose. I tightened the hex screw on the pipe and it is still loose. Will this pipe work with the 91's standard exhaust adapter??? Do I need to get an adapter from BVM??? Thanks in advance for the info...

I would be leary of using a BVM puffer pipe on an OS 91. The pressure system is different and it may make needling the engine very difficult, mayeb even to the point you might go lean in the air and smoke your motor. I have no experience with it on other engines, maybe someone here does.

i will say if it doesn't fit tight, it won't seal and you won't be able to needle the motor at all.

you do need the bvm header with the bvm pipe.

Or, to paraphrase slightly from a famous LA court trial,

"If the pipe does not fit, the engine might quit!"
