Sandor
That should be a rocket ship with a Merlin. My 339 was 23 kg wet and did not lack vertical performance with the Merlin. How much? how soon?
Best regards

we will test this one first , and after they are ok , i guess they will hit the market.
i hope promisses are made this time ,we have some changes done like a GIANT fuselage to hold lots of fuel ,and smoke tanks.
i think we can use a UK cider bottle of 3 liters and still put 2 liter bottles aside the big one.
the merlin looks small on this huge thing.
the Landing gear contains the wheels from the MB-339
the front oleo comes standard trailing , the aft oleo,s where strait.
i exchanged them with the jet-1A with the heavy spring.
the jet-1a where specialy designed for them.
here some more pics of the new wing and elevator design..no more hinges!!

Right now we are doing the manual and test flight of the plane, production will start in December and all orders will be attended as FIFO, If you need more information about the plane send me an email to [email protected] with your phone number and I will be glad to call you, by the way we speak Portuguese.

Looks good! Particularily in that colour scheme, the fuselage looks deeper in comparison to the Velox with more room inside. What I really want to know is where is the SU27? Can you give us any more info on availability, turbine size, one or two turbines etc.?
Best regards

SU27 still in the bench, LG is finished and they are working on the intake's hatch to access the turbines, she is a twin and I believe that 2XP80 or 2XFalcons will do the job, after we receive the prototype, that is scheduled for the beginning of the next year, we will know better.

You might be able to do that by fitting a single turbine and using a straight pipe. I have seen a couple of twins done this way and it works. The taipipes are close enough together so that assymetric thrust is not a problem. It also gives you plenty of room for a fuel tank in the other engine bay.

Not in the SU27 there is no room in the fuse to install a single turbine inside, however you can install it outside if you install it inside a fake drop tank.

If you can install two turbines in the SU27 (say P80 size) why not one P120 which is the same size as the P80? The single turbine would go in one of the engine bays only, not in the centre like the F15.

Trust me, it works, you put your main fuel tank in the other engine bay plus your batteries etc. this takes care of the weight situation. You might have a small off centre balance when the tank is empty but remember your single turbine is very close to the cetreline. The thrust being slightly off centre does not seem to affect yaw from the models I have seen fly.
Here is a good example. David Matthews flew this single engine F18 at the WJM in this configuration. The straight pipe also cuts down the power loss of a bifurcated pipe.

Wagner,
Back to the Velox XL. Any idea what the US price will be? And when are they due to start shipping?
