Now maybe they are not all the same but this one was not worth owning...

I have built and flown two, one for me and one for my buddy. We were not happy as it was supposed to be a trainer, to many bad habits.
Regards
Bob

I found it easy to fly, stalls were very predictable, landing can be a bit of a challange, I eventually put carbon fiber mains on it that were 1" longer and much stiffer than the aluminum ones, made a huge diffrence in keeping it on the ground. Very tuff Jet, built kinda like a brick.....looks like one too

I did find that if you get one slow, like on top of a loop, and it snaps into a spin, it will not come out. At least mine wouldn't until I reduced power to idle. Then right out of the spin. Got my attention first time it did it. Not a true trainer either. Bob

Hi,

That's an old design that hasn't been offered in quite a while. In it's day, it was heavily discussed here on RCU. There were a number of build threads
on this airplane, and follow-up flight reports. I have an AV8R that has not flown, but at one time I followed these developments quite closely. Might I
suggest that you try a forum search for this information??

John
