Love the R&D movies. Makes me feel like I am buying something that has been developed by flying. Well done SM.

Wow, a very impressive video! Back to back take off's and landings with different wing configurations.

And I didn't see it tucking in every turn with the wings swept. Great job and great flying Anton!

That testing should have been done in reverse the Aeroplane handled better with full sweep than normal configuration obviously due low fuel weight. Would have been good to see how it lands heavy in the swept configuration.

Can someone tell me the widest point of the plane with the wings off? Changing the racks in my trailer, need to make sure I can transport this bad boy.

37", stab span is 56" but easily removable.

Cheers,

Pleasure Anton, we're having fun putting this Tomcatter together, a couple of puzzles were solved by phone calls with Li Kai. I'll try to post some pictures of the build too.

Regards,
Barry

We were trying to remove the two main tanks to redo plumbing and had to remove the aft carbon spar first, some servo orientation options in the wing...., nothing you can't figure out on your own I'm sure, especially there's a pretty good manual with pictures on the SM site, but we love shortcuts since Li Kai is just a phone call a way.

Thanks Barry for the puzzle report. I wish you great success with your build sir. Any photos yet? Not many seem to be posting photos of their F14 build on here. Shame, I love to see how other people come up with solutions etc.
