Ok, I give, I have got a few more to post, but hte images are coming across rather large. if you click on them, it brings it doen to a normal size and then click on the arrow to seee the next one.

Do you have to reduce the picutre file size before you post them..... I have never had to do that before.....

Mike and Sebastien,

Thanks a lot for your comments and for posting the pictures. It sure seems that the Fly Eagle F-16 lives up to or exceeds expectations. Guess I'll have to order one now.

Ok Boys and girls (if any[sm=72_72.gif]), I think we have hit the jackpot. I got the F-16 today and it looks fabulous. The workmanship looks very solid. This a ARF jet kit, what do I mean by a kit…hhhuumm, I work for an aerospace company where we manufacture systems for space, airborne, sea and ground. When we kit an assembly to the floor, all pieces that are necessary to build and test that part is issued to the floor where the operators do not need anything else to build the hardware with…….This Jet is one of those kits, the only thing that we need to supply is the a bit of Hysol for a few pieces, the turbine and the radio. They provide all the linkages, hinges, horns, servo mounts, …… Man I am excited, I have bought ARFs before, but nothing with this quality. The gears….oh let me tell you about the gears…..The tires are inflatable, kind A cool, the gear mounts and assembly is very solid, it is made of machined aluminum parts none of that forged or formed sheet metal or aluminum stuff, It looks like they start with a solid block of aluminum and machine it down. Get this, the gears are pre installed……nice. They even provide a carbon fiber bypass (bottom half only at least that is all I have seen so far). There is quite a bit of panel lines and all markings are there. Here are some pictures for your viewing pleasure……..I can’t wait to get the F-15 now, I think old Santa has been good to me this year….. [sm=lol.gif] For some reaon the system is not letting me upload pictures, I will try it on another post. Hang on guys......

Why these tires and gears are looked so similar to my ideas? [sm=confused.gif][sm=confused.gif]I think they even can be exchanged with my parts directly.[sm=punching.gif][sm=punching.gif]

Hi Mike

I use a software named PixResizer you can download it here http://bluefive.pair.com/pixresizer.htm
It works great and does batch image files so you can do many pics at once.

So overall - do you like the plane?

I took 1 F15 and 1 F16 . I asked for custom paint job on the F15 with a surprise - F15 in Tiger Meet scheme!
I do now know how it looks yet, but will post pics as soon as I get pics from the FEJ company.

Cheers,
Zivo

Hey Zivo,

Thanks for the info I will look in to it.

I Love the F-16, the craftsmanship and the paint is great. You will love it. I should have the F-15 by next week and will let you know how that looks also.

Mike

Is anyone planning a P-60, Super Bee, or equivilent for the F-16? I would be curious about the performance and weight. If I understand correctly, the small turbines do not require a tailpipe?

Thanks,
Grodus

Hey Grodus,

Mine s going to be powered with RAM 750F autostart. The ram puts out about 18 Lbs of thrust and should be able to hurl the jet down the runway. I believe if you use a smaller turbine, you can put it in the tail section with no pipe according to the website.

Did you buy one?

Mike

I downloaded the pics to my computer, removed it from your posts, saved your posts, edited and reinserted the pics.

Every now and then, the file server that serves up the pictures gets corrupted and makes the picture size too large.

Mike,
Not yet, I have a SuperBee. I am curious to hear about some weights and performance. I am really interested in this as a second jet.

Heu Buck,

The F-16 was $788, F-15 $1200. The total for both jets plus a few accessories and shipping was $2350.

Mike

I ordered a F16 Tiger Meet last night. I'm planning on putting my Wren SuperSport (18#) in it.
I'll have to wait until it gets here before deciding whether to mount it in the tail or conventional location.

well it looks as though the company making the skymaster line is now selling them , THEMSELVES.
here we go again in the dog eat dog jet market - this is great for us - fantastic pricing and above avg quality.
those planes and gear shown are the same as skymasters new stuff. how were the instructions /cd.
did it give you all needed info?

Anyone checked to see if that gear set will hold air?
And do the brakes work?

Hum, Likai is from Taiwan and FlyEagle is in Guangdong Province, China. Both in Asia, for sure, but the last time I heard, these were still two very different places...
