PST 800R
I have just spent a MOST enjoyable afternoon testing the new PST 800R.
The engine behaved absolutely flawlessly with some very good numbers, too.
The engine matches its performance looking absolutely stunning with its polished case and purple anodised nose cowl. In short, an absolute gem of an engine.
Full report in next RCJI.
Regards,
David Gladwin.

RE: PST 800R
David,
Not to take the thunder away from the RCJI article but what is the throttle response like - Idle to Max and Max to Idle?
I have a 1300 and its a fantastic engine with super reliability but awalys wish had better spool up and down times.

RE: PST 800R
David ,
Agree with you , the 800R is a splendid engine .
I have about 40 flights on my Bobcat with the 800.
The ramp up on starting is a little slower than the 1300 and the throttle response not as quick as a Wren but it puts out whatever PST claims and is super reliable.
