Default Feibao Rafal

Hi, I have just recived a Feibao Rafal and I have some questions:

Will a P80 bee enogh for this Jet for scale flying or is the alternative a P120?

I have noticed that the fin has no servo hatch so where to put the rudder servo?

Controll throws for the elevons?

Throws for the canard?

K-A

A P-80 should be fine and a P-120 would be better, I have the Xtreme jets Rafale with a super eagle turned down to 24 lbs.

I believe the elevons are set to 25mm up and down, the rudder servo gets mounted from the bottom and you will need to cut a slot for the servo arm/

Canards can be set to 15mm up/down to start and play with as much as possible when you have some time on the airframe.

Those picture look familiar...

K-A, Digitech's website has the build pictures to download in .ras format for the FB Rafale. You'll need to download the program (WinRAR) to be able to open the file to get to the pictures.

Is the canards mixed to the elevator channel or on a separate channel?

I have a Fei Bao Rafale, and I realy think a P80 would not be enough for such a kind of plane
I use a P120 inside, and this is enough power, could accept a P160 without problem
Concerning rudder servo, it is not necessary, I blocked the rudder
I got a video with on board cam and some telemetic info inside the video
Maybe I could post it on youtube ?

Will, yes please post your video if you can. You can also try RCU Videos too. They allow up to 50MBs file size.

K-A, I wouldn't fly anything less than 120 netwon (27 lbf) rated turbine in the x-tremejets or FB Rafale. Especially if your going to add the ordinance to yours. Link your canards to the elevator via a separate channel on the Rx. I can turn mine on and off if I choose, they are also part of the elevator dual rate switch.

Bonjour William

Waaaaw what a nice video, transmission to the ground is not always 100% on the tape but it's still acceptable
You need a tiny lens to install this in the fin, don't you ?
Great to see the telemetry live on screen too.
Can you describe the equipment used to make this video + perhaps some photos of it ? Price ?

Nicolas.
