Chalgrove Dec 07 Jet Fest!
Guys
Just returned from Chalgrove...team Motors & Rotors turned up as usual with our special weather forecast we knew it would turn out OK...shame on you those that did not venture!
Rain stopped by 12.30 and we had a ball!
Flash day today with three examples plus the New prototype Turbine Spark was test flown (more in a minute)
Trevor "doc" Skedge turned up on his crutches after falling off a step...think he said it was 2" high..I kid you not! so I brought him a chair and blanket plus my Phase 3 F-16 to play with
Rob, Steve and myself had a blast with the Flashes and the Spark proved another success for Comp ARF.

Oh yes weight-I'm bad at weighing things. Just done it and it's 5kg (about 11lb) with a little fuel still in the tank

Yes you were right (again [:@]) with your 'special' weather forcast!!!
Had a ball with new Thunderbirds Comp-ARF flash in what seemed to be gale force winds!!! What an easy aeroplane to fly, highly recommended .

Stevie,
Is that your new Flash? What's it packing?
With all this money you need to come and rent a house off me. It's 40 miles away from work so you'll get some breathing space

Good job Trevor - I always knew there was room for the "last of the summer wine" look at a jet meet!
C'mon Dave - you know he needs to be giving me the money from his toy fund, so I can buy more stuff. That's how team work happens.......!

It wasn't that windy ...other than when a shower came and we were trying to get the van door open to get in!
It's OK he only broke his foot...
