How Many of you have the 12FGA on backorder?
Hi.
I have decided on a 12FGA 2.4ghz and have been watching for any updates on the release and was wondering how many others have placed these on backorder. Tower says late December but who knows.

Dom,
As Marty mentioned, he and I went ahead and got the 12 FG with the 72 MHz module and we have these in-hand. I have the TM-14 module and the 14-channel 2.4 RX on back order from Tower. I'm off to install the 7-channel RX in my Flash for Sunday. When the TM-8 module and RX come out, I'm going to buy one of them for my 9C and sell the TM-7 module with my 8U TX as a cheap way for somebody to get into the FASST world...

I wish I could be there with you on Sunday Bob but the wife[:@][:@]. Anyway, have you looked at the ridiculous temps for next mon/tue? I'm gonna fly one of those days. I flew the 12FG last Sunday in my 29% Giles with a Brison 2.4. I used the 5114 14channel RX and the range check with the antenna off was way out there. I stopped after about two hundred feet with the engine at full throttle. I definetely noticed a difference with the 2048 resolution as the plane was more responsive and I was behind in some maneuvers that I usually have down.

Hi Dom, I have the TM14 module and 2.4 receiver on back order (I have a 12Z). My only bit of concern I have is the large fuel capacities our larger jets carry (and no option for satellite receiver(s)). I have read some info that implied that fuel/fluid can potentially block (or absorb) the 2.4 signal from the transmitter. However, based on some of the testing people have been doing ..... with very positive results .... it does not look like it will be an issue.
