Been using one of these for about 3 months now. Works great
If you watch Sears, sometimes they run specials. When I bought mine they had a charger and two batteries on special. Another nice thing is that you can buy different attachments that will work with the battery.

Bob;
What fitting did you get/use to attach an airline to the pump; I see in your photo your Yellow Airline is attached to the pump somehow; the unit comes with a large 1/4 ID black hose and you changed it out.
Thanks, Doug.

The black hose is removed by loosening the red thing that the hose connects too and different fittings just slide in and tighten the red thing. Air mattress, football inflation needles etc come up the compressor.
At first I used the football inflator and just slide the yellow air line on it. A friend of mine had the fitting that you see and gave it to me. He thinks it was a Robart fitting of some kind.
Also there is a digital air gauge on the back side of it.

Bob;
I wonder if that fitting is just a fill valve, with the valve removed and installed with the threaded part into Red Thing and the barbed end of the fill valve sticking out so you can attach an airline to it. I used a football inflator needle on a similar pump and I could never keep an airline on it and the needle would pop out of the air chuck.
Amitt;
I had a Vector, and I agree, its not that good; it worked good at first then I was lucky if I could pump 80psi into the airtank, and even then it took forever.
Doug.

Been using the Vector for over a year, no problems whatsoever. Not sure what happened with yours.

Which one are you using?
If I read it right........it says it has
Back-lit display of PSI
12V battery
12V charger for battery
and you can run it from an electrical outlet as well
All for under $40

This has been discussed back in October .....I am a big Sears junkie and happened to find this pump on their shelves for $33.95 at the time.......my second Vector had just died.....I actually bought 2 Vectors when they were on sale about 2 years ago.........problem was with the Nicads.....mine were junk and difficult to replace the way they were stuck in the holder......and I think, but am not sure, there were only 8 for 9.6v.
I have been using the Sears since early summer......it is bulletproof, pumps much faster than my Vector ever did, and lasts all weekend of 15-20 refills to 110 psi without recharging..........probably good for allot more in fact....
Bob-O showed me the connector he is now using at Pensacola....perfect little item, but I am still using my cut-off basketball inflator with no problems either.....plus I use the battery pack on a couple of other Sears tools I have.....
