This is a new build. How can I fix something that isn't broke yet when I have not yet built it? Looking for the right size servo's to use in it. Is more torque always better then more speed?

In my opinion, within reason, more torque is better for jets than more speed. The reasons are two fold. First, I have heard many claim they can tell the difference in a faster servo while flying, but I have BIG doubts if anyone can tell the difference between a .09 sec transit time and .20 while flying. Secondly, the higher torque may help delay the onset of flutter on a control surface.

I own & fly an older version a couple years old,but my buddy has the new YA16
I have 1 -5645 hitec digital on my flying stabs,a hitec 225 on my rudder,645's on each aileron,a hitec 225 mg on steering and of course you can use cheaper bb servos or minis on everything else
now joey on his is using 2 -5645's on his stabs,a jr368 on rudder, hitec 5245's on his ailerons and i think a 368 on his steering too
hope this helps you a bit

Hello again Vasek,
Be patience he'll write u back. When I send him emails it take awhile to get back with me also. He works at a fiberglass place and I've heard he is very at what he does. If you want to do some reading from other with have and talk to him he has a thread in the (Jets) sections it's called F-16. When I get mine I will let u know how it is quality wise.

i did get a VERY short reply from 2fast4u, but he just told me that the kit is a DF jet... i knew THAT!
anyway, i would love to keep in touch with you to see how your plane turns out (construction and flying), i hope you don't mind. if it flies well i might get one too.
by the way,is this your first jet plane?
are you planning on installing retracts?
thanks for helping, Vasek

Vasek,
Yes this is my first jet and i'm looking for the best retracts to put in it. Bvm are too expensive and I'm thinking of going with yellow retracts. No problem keeping in touch on how the jet is going. Selling some of my Planes to get funds for the jet.
Thank's

Vasek,
Got the kit doesn't look bad. Directions aren't completed. Have to order more directions from him. With additional cost. Don't have the money right now to start the jet but will let u know how things go.
