Default Digitech turbines

I am looking at buying a 28+ lbs turbine. I was most likly going to buy a jetcat 120se or a Titan. But I just found a site in England that sells Digitech turbines. The only thing that I know about them is the price is less ($3040.00 shipped). And after I pay the sales tax in CA for a Jetcat and shipping I am sure the 120 would be closer a grand more and a titan 1500 more.

So, does any one know any thing about these trubines? I am going to put it in a skymaster f15.

Thanks.

Josh,
From what I understand, the Ulysses is a Simjet 3000 with a digitech ECU. Pricing is good, just keep in mind however, any service will require going back to Digitech.
You can get a US serviced Jetcat 120SE for 3095.00 or Titan for 3695.00 right now. Just something to consider....

Why don't you order your JetCat from Todd and save the state sales tax $$$ by ordering out of state---Most states do not charge sales tax if ordered from another state---I don't know of Cali is one of those though...

Absolutely nothing wrong with buying a Digitech turbine but If I were you I would follow Todd's advice and buy a P120 SE in the US. Why buy a turbine that you have to ship back to Europe for service and repair. Just the same way I would not buy a turbine from the US unless I had no other option. The P120 SE will be perfect in the Skymaster F15.

Hi Josh, K

The Digitech engine is in fact a SIMJET-3000-AES.

I stock this engine (non- Kero Start) in the US and service them here in Bath, Pensylvania.

I can offer you a 3000 at this competative pricing.

Please feel free to contact me at www.USSIMJETLLC.com

Thanks. It there a site or a link that you can give me to take advantage of the 17% discount on the tax. Or should I call when I am ready to buy?

Wow !
A 17% discount puts the cost of the engine at $ 2524.00 , not bad for a 30 # thrust turbine engine.
It may be worth the hastle of sending the engine abroard for service.
I checked the site and it says nothing about a 17% tax.

all europe shops (within eu) are obligated to have the local taxes (varies from 16 to 21%) vat included in the prices online.
most retail shops need to have them included.
sometimes they use a trick where they show you cheap prices and when you checkout they add the loca taxes.
like my shop if you register it will see automaticly where you come from ,so it wont add the vat if you are like from the states.
as long we export these articles outside the EU we can take out the 19% (netherlands)tax.
so yes keeping that in mind sometimes it is ok for you guys to get something from europe.

Ya and not to me. I think you should have waited to hear from me. The guy that started this thread raising awarness of your engines.

Just to let you know. I feel unfaily treated and used by you. I feel a honerable man would have told the first or secound buyer that showed up that you needed to wait a day and see if the original guy that showed interested wanted it.

You can keep your engines at this point (new or used).

Hey Sandor, I must agree with the guy. Why offer him the turbine, then sell it out from under him in 5 minutes. Who will rely on you now???

Agreed, but the guy never even had the option. He seems fairly new to the jet scene & has had a bad experience with someone who should know better. Sandor should have at least given him the chance having offered it. However I am sure he will get a turbine from elsewhere.

i can not just block stuff up
the automated shop does that for me.
it would be like you purchased a engine , the shop gives you the green light and forwards you for payment.
after one day you get a email thank you for the payment but i blocked the items for someone else.
all i can say is : register / subscribe to newsletters.
and wait till we get some cool stuff in.
happens a lot.

Ya, well, life goes on. I am over it. It wasnt meant to happen.

And by meant to happen, I mean that I am not meant own one of you turbines, you are not meant to have one (or another one) of you turbines in California to be seen flying and last every one here was supposed to see this go down.

I am over it and have a nice day.

FWIW, I have dealt on several occasions with Digitech, and not one single time have I been let down !
Sandor even threw some extra stuff in the last order for me, I forgot something on my order (air quickconnects), asked him to add them, he just stuffed them in the package, without even charging me for them.

He is great, and will for sure get some business from me!
Regards,
Carsten

C'mon Sandor. I am sure you can offer Josh another turbine at a reasonable price. I am sure you don't want to be buying beer for the Cyprus crew at Jetpower all weekend.
