Did you see the G10 (fibreply) parts for the slats from my earlier post? Any way you can help me out?

Thanks guys.
I spent a couple of hours over the weekend inventorying the parts in the kit.... what a bunch of fun this one is going to be.

Roger said he was having some inquires on the hinging & linkage set up using two rods from the nose gear strut to the rear door for G4 A-10 (this will also work for G3 A-10''s to).
Here are some pictures of the way I did it using Mibo supplied parts ( I replaced the 2mm plain nuts with 2mm nylon insert locknuts ).

Hey jimbo, I didn''t catch that post you made, yes that will help me make the cutouts in the slats. Thank you.
Is there any way to mount the linkages on the front door so that it gets a more scale rake to the door (forward, rather than rearward)?
The linkage looks sharp.

Hi Joe,
Late to this thread, I started looking after seeing that sweet A-10 from Top Gun (BTW was that a MIBO A-10 or an original design?)
Anyway, to you point, in my experience (with doors in general, obviously not the A-10!), that door rake angle is affected by the separation (distance) between the hinge axis of the nose retract and the hinge axis of the door.
I don't think the rake (in the down position) would be easy to change with a fixed length linkage (maybe an extending linkage might do something) given the relationship between the door hinge axis and the retract pivot axis. Just an educated guess, no more.

Thanks Matt, that's probably the best way, but since not going to top gun I'll not be worrying about an extending linkage going from the strut to the door.[)][)]
Jimbo, those grates look great! What did you use?

Hi Jimbo, here are some pics of another canopy mech. This has the scale hinge location and also allows for the aft canopy faring to pivot and slide back in a scale manner. Also shown is the air cylinder and mount along with the start of the scale rear deck.
