Anyone know why the Super Falcon 120 has such small servo pockets in the tail boom? One for each rudder and one for each elevator.
The only think that will fit in those pockets would be an Hitech HS85, and I don't think they have enough torque to manage this big bird. I'll be running a Moki 1.35 glow motor.
Thanks

I don't know why they made the pockets so small. A lot of guys are using HS225's. Personally I have not had good luck with those servos.
I enlarged the servo pockets on mine and installed standard sized servos. No big deal, just make up a plywood reinforcement and epoxy it inside the opening. Since the boom is not very thick where the elevator servos mount I had to space the servos out slightly with some plywood.
I have an 18# turbine on mine and wouldn't trust it to those small servos.
