Default Help on Paint schemes for a Bobcat

I have about as much imagination as a tomato when it comes down to invisioning a paint scheme for a Jet.

My airbrush guy can do anything I want but I have to start him off somewhere, any of you guys have any ideas for a really cool scheme?

camo is not an option, I want flames and checkerboard and stripes and stuff...

send me some pics I need to paint my new project soon, so keep the cards and letters coming boys and girls..

here is a couple of free bees.

straight or curved?

I can not tell you how to come up with a scheme. Each person varies in color and line choice to go with a particular shape.

See how the sweeping curves changes the actual feel of the super bandit. You just need to break out the crayola's and just start to doodle.

Second best?!?!?!?!? My father (a twenty year Naval veteran with seven tours of duty in Viet Nam) would love to skin your hide for you for that remark!!! (just kidding) Wanna see my scars as proof??? Growing up I thought my name was either magot, numb nuts or sfb. Sheesh---second best...I'll try to keep him away from the computer to keep the beast in him at bay.

Yep.. nice T-38. I'm assuming that's a Fiorenze kit? Nice work. So.. let's see here..

2nd best = Blue Angels
3rd best = Thunderbirds

One wonders what you think is the best? Snowbirds? Red Arrows? Patrioulle de France? Frecce Tricolore?

Personally.. I think the Blues are the best out there.. especially in light of them doing everything without a G-suit on.

Default Try this with Paint

I did this with the Paint Program. I am going to use it on my BobCat. I was wondering what Justin could do with this? I don't have much artistic ability either.

Default Turkish Stars Baby

Turkish Stars they rock the house!

NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My buds know I really get "amped up" when the Blues come here to Seattle. As soon as they get here I am not worth a crap at work for a week.....I crawl up about 50 flights of steps to get to our roof of our building to watch them. My work is right across where the blues stay when they are here for Sea Fair.

Lets not get carried away with all this Justin is great stuff. What Justin isnt telling everyone is that his wife Tracy builds and paints all of his models for him.

Default Hal

I took your drawing and made a new one and put some curves to it. It gives it a smoother character than the harsh pie shapes.
I put a color reversal on the stab.

When I am on my "Day Pass" Tracy lets me come to the jet shows...I have to promise her I wont talk to the dolls inside the airplanes anymore.

Default What a Difference

Justin

What are you doing your drawing with?

You have really added some flair to it! Now all I have to do is paint it!

Default Renderings

I just draw them out with markers and colored pencil and take a digital of it.

Default I wish I was an artist

That looks good! I have added some grey stripes along with the red, tan, blue and some black. You have picked up on that with you Bandit rendering. It looks like I need to separate several of the colors with the white. It stands out better.

Thanks for the help.
