RE: MW44 Boomer!!
I will now set to and develop it so the kit will be for either the MW44 or EDF option. It should be ready around Christmas.

RE: MW44 Boomer!!
Just wrapped up a few hours of meetings with Alan discussing lots of new and exciting things. Including the new models name......
Also discussed a more Elan type fuse but as this would require moulding which would involve quite a delay in production and a feared weight penalty it has been decided to go with the old baby style built up fuselage.

Seeing as how Foremost were able to clone the Elan in such a short timescale and come up with a moulded fuselage ( Okay, we know it is a piece of crap!) surely it is not going to take nine months to put the mini boomer into production with a balsa / ply fuselage? Come on guys, I have a Wren 44 and a set of small spring airs sitting doing nothing!!
Best regards
John

RE: MW44 Boomer!!
Hi Dave,
Actually the common name for a large kangaroo is a "Boomer" and a baby kangaroo is called a "Joey". Usually a Joey is of the age when it is still in its mothers pouch. They live in the pouch and spend increasing longer times out of the pouch as they get older.
"A kangaroo carries its baby in its pouch. The baby is born really tiny and crawls into its mother's pouch.
The baby lives in its mother's pouch till its quite large. Even when its quite large it still drinks milk from a teat in its mother's pouch.
It sometimes jumps into its mother's pouch head first when frightened. "
Very confusing.
Regards

alan even If its a balsa kit kindly attempt to have the fuselage roundish like the Ă©lan. Personally I wont mind putting in some sanding time for that result
