Default Thank you Troy Built Models...

So...late last Thursday night I'm putzin around with my Lightning...checking everything out for next weekend's FLL fun fly and well...what do ya know? I left the ECU battery hooked up to something I should not have...and it's dead. Bloody 'ell. Hmmm...Fromeco is out of cells...I am not using other batteries except Troy Built, so I give 'em a call Friday AM.

Billy answers the phone when I called (about 11:00 or so) and said they had plenty of cells...just no packs built. He said they would make me a new pack on Monday and ship it to me so I could have it by Wednesday...and I ordered it.

Today at about noon time...ding dong...it's the Big Brown Truck with a box from Troy Built. My new Li-Ion ECU battery shows up...connectors and all. Now how cool is that!

Thank you Troy Built Models...you saved the day!

I ordered 3 Troy Built Li-Ion packs from them late Summer/Fall last year and 2 of the 3 packs are no good! (they went bad over the Winter and were NOT plugged in) I have been flying with Fromeco batteries since 2005 and NEVER had a battery go bad on me and I have bought alot! I think I will wait until Fromeco finds a new supplier and stick with what works.

Pat,

All of mine work fine...and I have been using TB batteries for years. The one that I killed died because I left it on for two weeks.
