Paint Procedures
Guys,
Need to tap the wealth of experience here...
I am building a SM 339 and I am getting to the point where I need to go to paint. I have the wings fitted out and most of the fuse done as well. My question is this, do you fit out ever thing and leave it in place for painting or do you tear it back down again for paint?
I have the main gear installed as well as the doors hinged and all that, should I paint the wing as an assembly or disassembled?
Any and all suggestions would be great!

RE: Paint Procedures
I usually pull everything out again to paint, except things like servo extensions & air lines provided you can mask them properly or tuck them away so they don't get overspray on them.
It takes a bit of time to pull the stuff out again but you save some of that time because masking is easier. Easier to paint doors & control surfaces all over if they are not attached.
I suppose it depends how fussy you are but I think overspray on bits looks crappy. - John.
