This is Sean Saddler's refinished Rookie2. Flies like a bullet but looks weird on landing with the canards used for braking.

And - the big event of the day - the after-hours maiden of my Bandit ARF. Flew flawlessly, which is the best you can hope for. Just needs some balance adjustment and a few other tweaks. Many thanks to Sean and Patrick for your help, guys.

I believe that belongs to Paul Applebaum (spelling?) and it has a Wren 44 in it and I believe he scratch built it. I know where there is another one that Paul built and sold to a friend of mine that might be willing to sell it if you're interested in it. It has a ducted fan in it now but I think it could be converted over to turbine just as Paul has done.

We tried to get a picture of all the pilots who were flying this year. If we missed anyone then we do apologize. You must have been flying while I wasn't looking!

And I must give credit to my wife, Devi, who shoots most of these pictures.
This one is of Pat's daughter, Issi, waiting for Dad amid the fuel cans

Got home a couple of hours ago after the LONG drive home. Man what a perfect weekend. The SLRC club couldn't have hosted a finer event. Hats off to Patrick and Alec for a fantastic event. We defintely had a great time and the weather was absolutely perfect all weekend with the exception of the 20 minute down poor on saturday. I can't believe the amount of spectators that huddled under the tent and stuck out the rain. The field is in perfect shape and is most definitely a great place to fly. We made a lot of new friends this weekend and it was great to see everyone. Thanks to everyone from the SLRC club for your hospitality! Looking forward to next year...
