Default 9303 2.4-wiring problem

This may be old news, but I found out about the problem on another group.
The I.C. on the 2.4 P.C. board rubs on the wires from the aileron potentiometer.
I used heat shrink tubing to protect the wires.

Horizon has a service bulletin out about this and how to fix it. Here's the link:

Limeybob,
How did you get a piece of heatshrink around the wiring without un-soldering one end?

I split the heatshrink, then secured one end with a piece of thread (Half-hitch) to keep it in place.

For UK Customers this does not affect the MacGregor DSX-9 2.4

Check with Model Engines-or who ever the importer is now!, but I think you are fine too, JR discovered the problem with the 9303 and fixed it before the DSX-9 was manufactured
